Learn how to settle and calm the mind, bring yourself into the body, rest in the space of awareness and use your body to anchor yourself into the present moment. You may find it helpful to place yourself in a room free from disturbance and take the opportunity to have a blanket or cushion handy for your warmth and comfort (although it’s not essential!).
