General Practice Webinar
Please join us on Thursday 12 January 2023 at 5pm for the next of our regular General Practice webinars with information and updates on the latest policy around general practice.
To start the new year, as well as bringing you the latest news updates, we’ll also have in depth updates on:
- The role of nursing associates in primary care – HEE will be joining us to talk creating nursing associate roles in primary care, the benefits of including them within MDTs and across PCNs, and how to access funding that’s available for trainee nursing associate places in GP settings.
- Advanced health checks for people with learning disabilities – National Clinical Director, Roger Banks and lived experience colleague, Paul James will present a session on how you can ensure that patients with a learning disability can benefit from annual health checks. Approaching the topic from both policy and lived experience perspectives, they’ll cover good practice, how you can make use of additional roles, and the tools and resources available to you to help drive uptake.
To attend, please ensure you register by 12pm on Wednesday 11 January 2023. If you registered for our last webinar, you do not need to register again.
The webinar will take place through MS Teams Live and all registered attendees will be emailed a joining link closer to the time of the event taking place. If you haven’t received your joining link, please first check your junk/spam folders as the email may end up there, before contacting us by email.
A recording of the webinar (and all previous webinars) will be available on Future NHS.
Please note: this is a closed webinar for those working in or with general practice. Please register using your official NHS or professional email address to help us to confirm your place.
